"Don't be afraid to create your own door; opportunity or chance!" Ronnika A. Joyner

Branding yourself is so easy these days! All social sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and so many others are right at our fingertips. So why is it that aspiring artists brands are suffering? Is it because there's a lack of finances or it is the lack of time? Meet Ronnika Joyner! She is the founder of inGENEus PR & Co., Publicist, and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Ms. Joyner is taking the Atlanta industry by storm assisting many by improving their brand. Ms. Joyner stopped by to give us a few tips on branding, what's happening in her life, and what's next for this amazing company."

"After graduating from Jackson State University, I left Mississippi for an internship in Washington D.C. While I was there, I realized that I wanted to focus my career on Public Relations. After finishing, I relocated to Atlanta, GA and started building my company inGENEus Public Relations & Co while working at Cox Media Group (The Atlanta Journal Constitution). After being laid off from The AJC after a year, I started working at Yellow Pages' Coporate Office and began signing on my own clients for inGENEus. I've always known that Coporate America wasn't ready for me. My number one goal was to become an entrepreneur and to have multiple streams of incomes while doing what I loved."

"Branding is probably the most important aspect when it comes to Integrated Marketing. You cannot do anything without a brand. Every celebrity, television show or person that we follow has a brand. A brand is the connection between the person or product and its audience."

This former Miss JSU is no stranger to the limelight. She carries herself with such sophistication and grace that makes her clients feel that they're in a safe place. She keeps pushing and rising above it all which encourages so many people that she encounters. She's a firm believer that investing in self is necessary because it changes dreams into a reality!

"There are several PR companies and Publicists that have inspired me but I must say I follow the top celebrity publicists in the industry and their companies. Instead of falling in love with the celebrity or brand, I always find out who's behind that person. A great publicist I would have to say is Yvette Noel-Schure CEO of Schure Media Group."

Ms. Joyner is wise enough to know that behind every great artist is an AWESOME PUBLICIST! She's knows that having a team helps to solidify an artist image and so much more. Ronnika is definitely changing the game and she won't stop there!

"You can expect more speaking engagements, a book, and more business ventures. inGENEus will be expanding by getting more clients and office openings. The Atlanta and Mississippi locations are both doing well so now it's time to branch out to the LA market and that will take place this summer."
